As we head into the end of the 2nd quarter, high school has been working hard to finish well. From the completion of exams, to the Science Fair, to participation in Spirit Week and Homecoming, the students have been steadily moving along.

This year’s Science Fair was a combination of middle and high school science classes. Students displayed their experiments and showed how they gained understanding of the application of scientific principles in daily life.

Spirit Week 2017 was a fun celebration of OCSI spirit! The dress up days were a wonderful way to show class unity. At the pep rally, the seniors showed their spirit by cheering the loudest for the Spirit Stick. The class cheer performances were well done, exhibiting how well the classes worked together. Later that night at the homecoming game, we saw the crowning of the homecoming king, Kenny Loomis, and queen, Selena Lucas. The week was topped off by the exciting boys’ basketball game where the Crusaders beat the Zion Lions 41-33.
