Our school year is off to a good start:

  • Students are learning! For example, 2nd grade readers are now reading to themselves for 17 minutes without stopping, 6th grade Bible students compared God’s riches vs. the world’s riches, and 12th grade government students applied Biblical principles of leadership to different forms of government.
  • PTF (Parent-Teacher Fellowship) welcomed new parents at a gathering on September 8.
  • We’re gearing up for another year of great middle school and high school activities, including Friendship Friday on September 23.

Thanks for praying for God’s work at OCSI:

  • Praise God for OCSI’s Board of Directors. Ask God to encourage board members and to provide His guidance.
  • Ask God to provide the resources OCSI needs to equip students to walk with God and impact the world for Him.
  • Ask God to use OCSI to share the good news of Jesus.
  • Ask God to guide the Leadership Team as it plans for a new fence between the playground and the new public road that will run along the back side of campus. (For further prayer requests, please see our prayer guide.)
