Summer Academy
Kindergarten to Grade 5

OCSI Summer Academy’s mission is to equip English-learning students with 21st-century skills and knowledge to effectively walk with Jesus and impact the world for Him. Our summer program provides a safe, enriching, and interactive environment with goals of reducing summer learning loss, accelerating academic achievement, and engaging students in learning experiences. Elementary students will have daily reading, writing, and math, along with enrichment experiences to include arts and crafts, coding, sports, science experiments, and more.
Our program is open to any Kindergarten through 5th-grade students who currently reside in Japan.

Weekly Rate: ¥33,000 per week
3-Week Bundle: ¥90,000 (Full Session) → Includes a ¥9,000 discount for full-term enrollment.
External Enrollment Fee: ¥10,000 (One-time fee for non-OCSI students)

Summer Clinics
Grades 6 to 12

Our summer clinics offer students the opportunity to develop new skills, explore creative interests, and grow in a fun and encouraging setting. Explore this year’s clinic offerings:

Week 1 – Play & Build:

Soccer (open to Grade 5): Improve dribbling, passing, and teamwork while building confidence on the field in a fun, active environment.
Robotics (open to Grade 5): Design, build, and program robots while developing creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on challenges.
SAT Prep (High School only): Strengthen key skills while learning effective strategies to boost confidence and performance on the SAT.

Week 2 – Create & Compete:

Basketball (open to Grade 5): Practice shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork through fun drills designed to build strong basketball fundamentals.
YouTube Production (open to Grade 5): Learn how to plan, film, and edit engaging videos while exploring creativity and digital storytelling.
Robotics: Take robotics further with more complex builds and coding challenges that encourage teamwork and innovation.

Week 3 – Perform & Express:

Volleyball (open to Grade 5): Develop serving, passing, and teamwork skills while enjoying the fast-paced fun of volleyball.
Photography (open to Grade 5): Learn photography basics like composition and lighting while capturing creative and meaningful images.
College Essay Writing (High School only): Craft a strong college essay by learning brainstorming, storytelling, and editing strategies.
