OCSI Summer Academy’s mission is to equip English-learning students with 21st Century skills and knowledge to effectively walk with Jesus and impact the world for Him. Our summer program provides a safe, enriching, and interactive environment with goals of reducing summer learning loss, accelerating academic achievement, and engaging students in learning experiences. Elementary students will have daily reading, writing, and math along with enrichment experiences to include arts and crafts, coding, sports, science experiments, and more.
This year we are also excited to open our program to any PreK-5th grade students who currently reside in Japan.

Our summer clinics are designed to spark their passions and build crucial skills in a fun, supportive environment. Choose your favorite clinics from this awesome lineup:
Week 1: Ignite Their Future!
- HS College Essay: Take the stress out of college applications! We’ll guide them in crafting compelling, authentic essays that truly shine.
- Art – Painting: Unleash their inner artist! From vibrant landscapes to abstract expressions, they’ll explore color and technique with expert guidance.
- Basketball: Get ready to hit the court! Our clinic focuses on skill development, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun.
Week 2: Creativity Unleashed!
- HS Creative Writing: Watch their imaginations soar! Through engaging prompts and exercises, they’ll develop their storytelling voice and explore different genres.
- Art – Drawing: From foundational techniques to detailed sketches, they’ll hone their observational skills and bring their visions to life on paper.
- Coding: Future innovators, get ready! This clinic is designed to develop coding skills and build problem-solving skills using Pygame.
Week 3: Ace Those Tests!
- HS SAT Prep – English: Give them the confidence they need! Our focused sessions will equip them with effective strategies to conquer the English section of the SAT.
- Art – Photography: Capture the world through a new lens! They’ll learn composition, lighting, and editing techniques to create stunning images.
